WELCOME TO THE WORLD, TATUM!

Introducing the New Mr. & Mrs.
RODEOS & BARREL RACES
We got started in shooting rodeo and barrel racing at the Sevier County Fair in 2021. When we moved the RV to southern Utah for the winter, we introduced ourselves to the SWBRA & the WCBRA, and you could find us at the Legacy Park arena in Hurricane many weekends
We don’t have a website to charge for our photos yet. We don’t require payment for our photos, but we really appreciate the donations people send our way. If you like our work, and want to say thanks, we gladly accept donations through Venmo @Denise-Bennorth.
Thanks to all of you for being so encouraging and supportive of our work. We consider it a privilege to work with all of you.

Jolly Old St. Nicholas
These cute cousins visited with Santa last night at Atomic Apertures, and it was so fun to capture their encounter with our cameras.
The Fall Colors at Cranford
Introducing our friends, the Dykstra-Barretts! We spent some time with them last month, capturing the fall colors at Cranford. These fathers are so proud of their little Maggie, and it's easy to see the love between the three of them.
Fun at the Park with the Kims
Our friends came to St. Charles, IL for their family photo shoot. Working with this family of five was just a good time; even Linda the dog cooperated! The weather was so pleasant, and the breeze wasn’t too crazy. We couldn’t have asked for a better time together.
Fall in Love
It looks like we picked the last of the perfect fall weather days for this photo shoot. There were still lovely leaves, and the weather was not too hot, and not too cold. It was the calm before the storms of the weekend.
We had so much fun with Nora and Josh. They were willing to try having leaves sifted overhead during some of the photos. Leaves have a funny way of being uncooperative, but at least we captured their smiles and laughter.
No Bennorth Images photo session is complete without some black and white photographs. Here are some of our favorites…
Fun Fall Family Photo Shoot
The midwest has no shortage of fall foliage, and living in the west suburbs of Chicago, our city parks are full of the colors of autumn. Our neighbors wanted to take advantage of the seasonal beauty, and we were happy to oblige! Look at this darling family, and these precious baby boys. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, or more cooperative little ones.
The COVID-19 Birthday Bash
During the COVID-19 quarantine of 2020, we hadn’t had many opportunities for photo shoots because so many of our events have been canceled; weddings, concerts, theater. When our neighbors invited us to an outdoor family birthday party in September, after six months of being cooped up, we were happy to go. Wearing our masks, and shooting from a distance with our long lenses, we felt safe, and enjoyed capturing memories and moments for our friends.
Congratulations, Taylor!
We enjoyed capturing moments during the golden hour of this beautiful graduate from the University of South Alabama. Is she photogenic, or what!
CAPS AND GOWNS GALORE!
During this COVID-19 pandemic, high school seniors missed out on many milestones; prom, senior class trips, parties, and some didn’t even have a graduation. When friends of ours asked if we would do senior photo shoots (from a distance), we didn’t want to disappoint them.
Look at these happy faces. Congratulations to the Saint Charles graduates of the class of 2020.
CONGRATULATIONS, GRADUATE!
Nicolette is a recent graduate of Oswego East High School, and will continue her studies with the goal of becoming a barber. We wish her lots of luck and success!
St. Charles Education Foundation Gala
In February, Bennorth Images volunteered our services as photographers to help teachers in St. Charles, Illinois. All money raised by the St. Charles Education Foundation goes to help local teachers.
WON'T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR?
Meet some of our friends from THA HOOD.
Chuck and I count ourselves lucky to live where we do. We have the best neighbors, and as you can see for yourself, they are pretty photogenic, too!
This year we were blessed to take Christmas card photos for two families in our cul-de-sac. We had so much fun taking some pictures indoors, and then venturing out to Pottawattomie Park in St. Charles, Illinois, and nearby at Heinz Brothers Nursery.
You know the advice that actors should never work with children or animals? As photographers, we LOVE shooting both. With our cameras. You knew that’s what we meant, right?
Sometimes the outtakes turn out to be fun photos, too!
When we are doing a family photo shoot, it is so fun to take individual portraits, and smaller groupings, like this darling Mommy and Me shot.
Let us know if we can be of service when you are ready for holiday cards, or any special occasion you want to preserve with photos.
Remember, beautiful memories should be priceless, not expensive.
Funnest Family Photo Shoot
Take a family with two parents, two bigs, two middles, and two littles; add two photographers, and you end up with an amazingly fun photo shoot at the park on a super humid and hot Saturday. Thank you to our new friends we met courtesy of the Aurora Pride Parade, for trusting us with your family's precious photos.
Picture Perfect
Sometimes our clients become our friends, and that makes us so happy. We met these guys a couple years ago when they were looking for a photographer for their little girl’s first birthday party. They prefer candids over posed shots, and like our journalistic, lifestyle photography. We have enjoyed photographing their parties, a baby shower, family celebrations, and a couple of baby baptisms.
Candids are our specialty, but sometimes you just need everybody looking in the same direction in a tight formation, so that’s what we did today. We think they’ll have a hard time choosing a favorite shot for their family Christmas cards because we had a hard time limiting ourselves to sharing just a few on our website!
Are these folks photogenic, or what! Friends like these make our job so easy, and so much fun.
"Double Your Pleasure; Double Your Fun"
Aren’t twins such a marvel? I always wanted to have twins of my own, and luckily, we have friends who have the most adorable boys who don’t mind (too much) posing for a picture or two. We have come to love this family of four.
Chuck and I were invited to visit them Saturday, and we brought along our cameras, just in case photo opportunities presented themselves. We’re so glad we did.
There weren’t many autumn leaves left, and the recent snow had mostly melted, but no worries; their new home and backyard provided a cozy backdrop for some posed and candid shots of mom and dad, the boys, and the whole family.
Hey, Jude!
As it turned out, we had a one hour window of opportunity for our family photo shoot at Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve before the rain fell. That was just enough time to try four different locations at the forest preserve for this darling family of three, starring baby Jude.
Mom and Dad were naturals in front of the camera, and needed no coaching from us on posing or expressions. Jude is the happiest little guy, and is so photogenic. There may be some photogenetics involved, if that’s a thing. There sure is a lot of love in this little family, which you can see for yourself.
My goal today was to bring my stuffed owl that jingles, thinking it might hold the baby’s interest. Unfortunately, Mr. Owl was left at home, so I had to get resourceful, and I borrowed one of Jude’s bright orange burp rags to wave behind Chuck.
While Chuck managed to snap one adorable picture after another, I was bouncing behind him like a personal cheerleader for Jude, with my orange rag as a pompom, yelling, “Hey, Jude! Jude! Look over here, buddy! Hey, Jude!”
Jude was ready for a snack and a snooze just about the same time it started to sprinkle, so we snapped just a few more shots, and called it a day. He really was such a happy baby during the photo shoot; he earned that bottle of milk and nap on the car ride home.
Anyone else humming “Hey, Jude” now? What a great song, and what an adorable little boy.
“Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey, Jude…”
